Writer, director, producer, actor, indie icon and geek god Kevin Smith has experienced a lot in his career.

Having an impressive catalogue of varying critically and commercially successful films his library includes his Sundance award winning debut Clerks, Mallrats, the theatrical gem Chasing Amy, the controversial Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Jersey Girl and the made classy with Roman numerals Clerks II. Kevin recently released a new comedy Zach and Miri Make a Porno last October and is venturing into horror with Red State.

A life-long comic book fan, Kevin has also written comic books featuring his own characters in the multiple-printed Clerks and Jay and Silent Bob. As well, he has written for legendary mainstays of the superhero world in the award-winning Daredevil, Spider-Man and the Black Cat at Marvel Comics and the award-winning Green Arrow at DC Comics.

Smith also makes the rounds as a popular speaker and has released two DVD compilations of his Q&As: an evening with Kevin Smith and An Evening with Kevin Smith 2: Evening Harder. A third DVD is on the way showcasing footage from a Q&A that was taped on his 37th birthday.
